The Regional Stock Exchange is a fully integrated electronic bourse common to eight (8) countries in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

It is the sixth (6th) African stock exchange in terms of market capitalization, and it has thirty-nine (39) listed companies on March 31st , 2014 as following: AIR LIQUIDE CI, BERNABE CI, BICICI, BOA CI, BOA BENIN, BOA BURKINA FASO, BOA NIGER, BOA SENEGAL, BOLLORE AFRICA LOGISTICS CI, CFAO CI, CIE CI, CROWN SIEM CI, ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL Inc. TOGO, FILTISAC CI, MOVIS CI, NEI-CEDA CI, NESTLE CI, ONATEL BF, PALM CI, SAFCA CI, SAPH CI, SERVAIR ABIDJAN CI, SETAO CI, SGBCI, SICABLE CI, SICOR CI, SITAB CI, SMB CI, SODECI, SOGB CI, SOLIBRA CI, SONATEL SN, TOTAL CI, TOTAL SN, TRACTAFRIC MOTORS CI, TRITURAF CI, UNILEVER CI, UNIWAX CI, and VIVO ENERGY CI.


The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) main activities are :

  • organizing the stock market ;
  • publishing the market information ;
  • promoting the financial market.

 


The Central Depositary / Settlement Bank (DC/BR)


The Central Depositary / Settlement Bank (DC/BR) is a Financial Institution of the WAEMU. Its Head Office is in Abidjan - Cote d’Ivoire at 18, Rue Joseph ANOMA. The Central Depositary / Settlement Bank is represented in each country of the union.

DC/BR is responsible for the conservation and circulation of securities on behalf of issuers and financial intermediaries approved by the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF), the financial markets regulations Authority for the region.
